    • Trade turnover in 2016 was USD 17,920,000.

      Import USD17,800,000.

      Main export and import items: wooden items, textile, ready-made garments and shoes.

  • Loan and assistance

    • The Government of Mongolia donated in emergency humanitarian aid to Nepal in 2015, when it was struck by a devastating earthquake, 20 million Mongolian tugrig worth of Mongolian-made medical and pharmaceutical products.

    • An Office of Honorary Consul of Mongolia was opened in Kathmandu in 1998.
